When are the Awards?
The Wedding Awards will take place in November at the College Green Hotel in Dublin. We’ll share further details, including ticket information, as soon as they are confirmed.
How much are tickets for the Awards?

How much does it cost to enter the Awards?
The entry fee is €75 + VAT per category entered.
When is the entry deadline?
The entry deadline has been extended to 23rd September due to demand. This gives suppliers a little extra time to complete and submit their entries.
How will the Awards be judged?
Entries will be assessed by an independent panel of judges. Following the closing date, all eligible entries will progress through a secure scoring and judging process, with entries assessed against the criteria for their respective categories. A shortlist will be announced on **One Fab Day**, with the finalists and winners revealed at the Awards.
Will I need to canvas for votes?
No. There is no public voting involved. Entries will be judged by an independent panel of judges following the closing date, who will create a shortlist to be announced on One Fab Day.
How do I know if my entry has been successfully submitted?
Once an entry has been successfully submitted, suppliers should receive a confirmation email and their entry should appear in the Entries section. If you have submitted an entry but haven't received confirmation or can't see it listed, please get in touch so we can check this for you. I'm having an issue uploading my logo. What should I do?
We’re aware that some suppliers have experienced issues when uploading their logo. If you're having trouble, please try uploading your logo as a PNG or JPEG and ensure it meets the specified file requirements. If you're still having problems, please get in touch and we'll help where we can.
Can I still enter if I experienced problems uploading my logo?
Yes. The deadline has been extended to 23rd September due to the upload issues, so suppliers have additional time to complete their entries.
Can I enter two different categories?
Yes! Suppliers can enter multiple categories where they meet the criteria. For example, a band offering a unique DJ service could enter Best Wedding Music Supplier of the Year (ceremony, drinks reception, etc.), Best Unique Entertainment Supplier of the Year and Best Wedding DJ of the Year. Similarly, a wedding venue with B Corp status could enter Best Wedding Venue of the Year as well as Best Sustainable Wedding Supplier of the Year. Each entry should be tailored to the specific category and demonstrate why the supplier is deserving of recognition in that area.
What is the Newcomer of the Year category?
This category is open to a new wedding business or wedding professional established within the last five years. Judges will be looking for a newcomer who has made a notable impact in a relatively short space of time, demonstrating exceptional quality, creativity, customer experience and clear potential for future success.
What is the Legacy Award?
The Legacy Award recognises an individual or group who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the Irish wedding industry over the course of their career. It celebrates years of service, dedication, influence and commitment to the industry, as well as the lasting impact they have had on couples, colleagues and fellow wedding professionals.
What is the Exceptional Wedding Service of the Year Award?
This award recognises businesses that provide an outstanding service that enhances the wedding experience for couples and their guests. It celebrates specialist wedding services that may not fit into the other award categories, such as childcare services, wedding dress cleaning or alterations, floral preservation, entertainment, unique guest experiences, and much more.
What are the criteria for Best Sustainable Wedding Supplier of the Year?
This award recognises a wedding supplier that demonstrates a strong and meaningful commitment to sustainability through its products, services and day-to-day business practices. Judges will consider the environmental impact of the business, use of sustainable or locally sourced materials, waste reduction and reuse, ethical and responsible sourcing, energy or resource efficiency, and any innovative approaches to making weddings more sustainable. We’re also looking for suppliers who can demonstrate that sustainability is genuinely embedded in their business, rather than simply being a marketing message, and who help couples make more environmentally conscious choices without compromising quality or experience.
