Editor and Head of Content – One Fab Day

Former editorial director of leading wedding titles, Wedding and Confetti, Ciara Elliott joined DMG Media as Head of Content at One Fab Day this year. During her 25-year career as an editor, social editor, stylist, content creator and fashion editor she has worked with IMAGE, Irish Tatler, The Irish Times and RTÉ. She headed up the first ever UK Wedding Influencer Awards and Interiors Influencer Awards. Ciara is a mum of two teenagers and lives between Dublin and London.

Deputy Editor and lifelong wedding super fan, Karen has been part of the One Fab Day team for over 15 years, watching many wedding trends evolve while championing the creativity of Irish couples and wedding suppliers. She curates the latest trends, beautiful Real Weddings and practical planning advice you see across the site, with a particular passion for discovering and supporting the brilliant suppliers who make Irish weddings so special. With an Honours Degree in Textiles from NCAD, specialising in bridalwear, Karen brings an expert eye for fashion, design and detail. She has also styled and planned weddings and worked on editorial shoots, giving her first-hand insight into the creativity, talent and hard work that goes into making a wedding truly special.

Grace Cahill is the founder and lead designer of Dublin-based creative agency Studio Grace. With a background in fashion and a passion for creating unique design experiences her work is characterised by thoughtful, intentional design and her editorial eye for detail. She blends high-fashion sensibility with a custom approach to production, styling and storytelling. Beyond her work, Grace shares glimpses of her personal style and love for interiors and tablescaping on social media.

With 39 years of experience, they have spent nearly four decades solely training professional florists for the commercial flower industry. Known for their incredible support, dedication, and high standards of professionalism, they love helping creative people build successful careers in floristry.  

Helen Cody

Fashion and bridal designer Helen Cody’s experience in the world of fashion spans almost three decades. Graduating in fashion and textiles from NCAD and then moving to Paris to work for French Vogue and Azzedine Alaïa, she developed her skills as a leading stylist for fashion magazines, music videos, TV commercials and celebrities. She has worked extensively in London, Paris and New York for the worlds leading publications and has dressed many Irish and international celebrities on the red carpet at the Oscars, Cannes Film Festival, The Tony Awards and numerous Irish and international premieres.

Dublin PR agency owner Rob Kenny runs one of the country’s most talked about agencies, RKPR. Known for their creativity and for running the best PR events in Ireland (with the best guest lists to match!), Rob and his team do the Consumer PR for a wide variety of brands, from Virgin Media Ireland, to luxury beauty brand VOYA, to the whole Mercantile Group of Dublin bar, restaurant and nightclub venues, such as The George and Cafe en Seine. Due to his keen eye for all things style and design, newlywed Rob also boasts a cool 52,000 Instagram followers.  

Edel Kinane

Edel began her professional fashion career at Marie Claire Australia and has since held many corporate roles, including over 10 years at Brown Thomas, marketing international fashion brands on behalf of the Group followed by a leadership role at FTSE100 Just Eat for over seven years. Her company, Tastemaker Consultancy offers wardrobe audits, personal shopping, styling and bespoke fashion sourcing for its female and male clientele in Ireland, the UK and the US. She also provides brand marketing services. 

Tara O’Connor

For over 30 years, Tara has supported some of Ireland’s leading charities including CARI, Respect, Irish Autism Action, and Chernobyl Children’s Project, helping to raise over €10 million through charity lunches, balls, and large-scale fundraising events. She is currently a proud member of the Development Committee for Barretstown, contributing to its mission and fundraising initiatives. For the past three years, she has also organised Pippa O’Connor Ormond’s annual Blossom Tree Ball. Giving her time to her chosen charities is deeply important to Tara, as she believes strongly in the value of giving back.

Sybil Mulcahy

Sybil Mulcahy is a Journalist and Head of Content at DMG Media Ireland for EVOKE, Rollercoaster and One Fab Day. Before that, she spent 19 years as a Television Presenter with TV3 working on news, current affairs and entertainment. She had her own TV show for five years. She is a mum of three children and lives in Dublin.

Newlywed Jules Fallon has spent over four decades at the heart of the international fashion industry. She entered the industry as a model at just fourteen, working until the age of twenty one before moving behind the desk, first as a model booker, then running the booking desk entirely for one of Ireland’s leading agencies.

Emma O’Byrne is an internationally renowned makeup artist with over 20 years' experience in editorial, fashion, bridal and celebrity makeup. Emma has worked season after season backstage at London, New York, Paris and Milan Fashion weeks, alongside the celebrated Charlotte Tilbury, for major fashion designers including, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney, Celine, Chloe, Victoria Beckham and twice for Victoria’s Secret. Emma also designed the makeup looks for bridal designer Emilia Wickstead for eight seasons. 

Blanaid Hennessy

Blanaid Hennessy is the founder and creative director of Folkster and Folkster Bridal, the Irish brands she established in 2008. Over almost two decades, Blanaid and her dedicated team have grown Folkster from its vintage beginnings to now designing bridesmaids and occasion wear, and sourcing incredible bridal wear. Her career has spanned buying, design, retail, brand development and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on creating and sourcing momentous products and, above all, memorable customer experiences.

Louis Copeland  has spent most of his life in menswear, joining the family business at a young age and going on to help build Louis Copeland & Sons into one of Ireland’s best-known names in menswear. With decades of experience dressing men for weddings, celebrations and everything in between, Louis brings a lifetime of knowledge, a great eye for style and plenty of personality to the One Fab Day Wedding Awards judging panel.

His distinctive style brings a classic and timeless touch to contemporary photography. He also directs commercials. He has worked with everyone from Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer and Helena Christensen to U2, Michael Fassbender, Saoirse Ronan, Ruth Negga, Richard Branson, Colin Farrell and Liam Neeson. His clients range from Bulova, Kork-Ease and Joseph Ribkoff to Adidas, Universal Music, Coca Cola, L’Oreal and Chanel.
